Ginisang Upo
1 garlic clove
1 small onion
1 tomato
1/2 cup ground pork
1 medium size bottle gourd/upo
1 tbsp shrimp paste/bagoong alamang
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp fish sauce/patis
black pepper and Ajinomoto to taste
Instruction:
- in medium heat put oil and sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato until translucent.
- add the shrimp paste then the ground pork. Sauté until the meat is cooked or turned brown.
- add the bottle gourd/upo and sauté for a few seconds then add a bit of water optional.
- simmer and occasionally stir until upo is translucent or a little bit soft.
- ready to serve. This is good for 2-3 people.
